Why do so many designers build logos in Photoshop??? Why are they NOT building them in Illustrator? Yeah, Photoshop has some really cool effects, but unless you build it really, really big and give it a really, really tight clipping path, it is not going to be able to be placed on anything but a white background because the JPEG you create is going to automatically give it a white background which can't be easily dropped out. Also, your pretty logo is not going to be able to be resized UP very well without pixilating, and if a color needs to be changed, too bad.
